Sewak Al-Falah Vaccum Packed Natural Flavor Miswak. The Length of the Miswak is 5.5 inch Long.
The miswak is a twig from the Salvadora persica tree which is used for cleaning teeth. Miswak, also referred to as siwak or herbal chewing sticks, were part of the daily routine in oral hygiene in early civilizations from Babylon to Sumeria. These miswak were still used by Arabs during the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and many consider these habits to be on par with our modern habits of brushing our teeth. A study, published on the National Center of Biotechnology Information, showed that the habitual use of miswak was similar to the toothpaste and toothbrush in the context of plaque control. It also stated that the miswak lead to fewer cases of gingival bleeding and an overall positive effect on oral hygiene (Dahiya et al).
