Our cheap essential oils make it convenient to buy several different oil perfumes and try new scents of body oil. Our attar comes in a convenient bottle with a roll-on applicator so you can put a small amount of your uncut fragrance oils on the heel of your palm and spread the scent around. We also offer Arabian sandalwood soaked with oil for a lovely, cleansing scent to fill your home. Many people choose to use oud bakhoor incense in a burner when guests come over to fill the air with an inviting aroma that will elevate the mood and create a memorable atmosphere for conversation and fellowship.
Why Should I Use Oil-Based Perfumes?
There are many reasons to get rid of alcohol based perfumes and go with oil-based colognes and scents. Oil based perfumes last longer, up to 10 hours. You can get a more natural scent that is pleasing to the senses with oil, alcohol based perfumes tend to be sharp and aggressive. Oil is nearly hypo-allergenic as the sources are all natural, therefore applying it will replenish the skin rather than depleting it. Lastly, oil based cologne is more likely to change and blend with your natural essence to create a custom scent the longer you wear it whereas alcohol based perfumes are more likely to clash with any natural scents.
Why Should I Use Bakhoor?
Bakhoor is a traditional custom for guests, but it is also the original air purifier! Burning Indian bakhoor incense will drive strong smells away. It is good for cleaning the air after cooking fish or anything else with an intense smell. In a Hadith narrated by Um Qais bint Mihsan the Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Use the Indian incense (Oud al-Hindi) [AKA Bakhoor], for it has healing for seven diseases; it is to be sniffed by one having throat trouble, and to be put into one side of the mouth of one suffering from pleurisy [inflammation of the lungs]." (Bukhari - Volume 7, Book 71, Number 596)
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) loved to smell nice and encouraged us to have nice smelling things in our homes, on our bodies and in the masjid. Therefore, smelling good with the use of oud, musk, attar and bakhoor is a sincere sunnah and an act of love for the Prophet.
