Men's Indian and Pakistani Kurta Tops and Pyjama Sets

The word, “kurta”, itself refers to the upper garment that is worn by men in many South Asian countries. The kurta originates from India where the kurta is still a staple of everyday indian clothing. Kurtas have changed in design and material over several years as different nations came to appreciate its stylish versatility. However, one thing is always the same, the shirt length is always below the waist and above the shin.

Some men’s kurtas also come with bottom garments referred to as “pajamas” or “pyjama” depending on the country or dialect. These bottoms are sometimes included with the shirt and are always worn together by some. There is no rule, but the style of the kurta allows you to wear anything as bottoms and still look dapper and cultured.
